Hi! I'm Shelby!
Since everything has worked out with my new sisters and they seem to like
me (well, at least tolerate me OK) - I get to stay and will get to play all sorts of cool doggie
games like freestyle, flyball, agility, rally - oh boy!
Here's the 411 on me - I'm on the small side for a beagle, about 13" and 14 lbs.
It's really cool to be the biggest dog in the group - I'm usually the
smallest! I
really LOVE squeaky toys, and am quite a thief when it comes to stealing
them all - the best part is pulling out all the stuffing. I know
everyone likes it when it looks like it has snowed in the living room. I love to run and play. I'm not too loud for a
beagle (well, at least not yet...) and I think my new mom likes it that way.

I'm learning how to use the doggie door
and love to get in and out all day. I have even played chase with Roxie
and Nellie. Nellie is
the smallest dog I've ever seen and has really cool pointy ears. They are a lot of
fun, but I'm not sure they know I want to play when I say "aarroo"
- they just kind of look at me funny.
Maggie and I like to sleep on the dog sofa -
mom calls it an
ottoman, but I'm sure it was made just for us dogs. Maggie doesn't
like to play too much - but I'm told that's because she's 17 and prefers
to just nap. So we nap on the ottoman together... we'll she
naps and I chew on a toy. I also like to sleep in the big
"beagle chair". It's very comfy and a great place to recharge after
doing the "zoomies". There is also a cool place called the
"dog room" - there is a big bed right in front of the window where we all
sleep when the sun is out in the afternoon...
